The SURPAS sports committee's next trip is to Uvas Canyon County Park, which is a remote park in Santa Clara County – on November 14!


What: Hiking in Uvas Canyon County Park

When: Saturday, November 14, 2015


We will be able to take 20 people, so register quickly to reserve your spot!


Transportation & Parking: We will meet at 9:30am on campus (top of the Oval - https://www.google.com/maps?daddr=37.429069,-122.169728&hl=en&ll=37.429108,-122.168618&spn=0.00322,0.005944&sll=37.429014,-122.169433&sspn=0.003221,0.007988&mra=mift&mrsp=1&sz=18&t=m&z=18) to organize car pooling. Please help us out if you have a car. If you don't have a car, please bring some cash to share gas and parking.

Description: We'll do this hike:


It's 3.2 miles (not much elevation) and ~2 hours of hiking. With the recent rainfall, we may even be able to see some of the waterfalls.


What to bring: Lunch, water, sunscreen, layers! (it may get cold). 


Cancellation policy: Rain = cancelation.

The event is open to Stanford postdoc community, including family members and friends of postdocs (each postdoc can bring 1 guest). If the registration goes over 20 people, we will put further registrations on a wait-list and notify you of any openings.
