Meet at the Palo Alto train station at 5:20pm to catch the 5:44pm train:
We will take the Caltrain to and from the Giants game.
What to bring: Mark Twain once said that "the coldest winter I ever experienced was a summer in San Francisco". This quote has never been more true than a night game at the Giants stadium - even if it's really warm down here. So, bring plenty to keep you warm (jacket, we also suggest a hat, possibly gloves, scarf, and a blanket). Bring some cash if you want to get food, drinks, or souvenirs at the game.
Cancellation policy: Rain or shine! (aka we'll go regardless)
Sign-up: If you plan on joining us, please fill out the sign-up sheet: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1iWwJmp3Npm9UEe0cIGkiVVCt3EeuDerM6GWac926Pl4/viewform?usp=send_form
The event is only open to Stanford postdocs, and family members and friends of postdocs (each postdoc can only bring 1 guest). If the registration goes over 25 people, we will put further registrations on a wait-list and notify you of any openings.
Please feel free to contact us at email@example.com if you have any questions. We look forward to going to the Giants game on June 12!
