Improv for Communication – Postdoctoral Scholars
Improv for Communication will use techniques drawn from improvisational theater to improve communication skills for day-to-day conversations, presentations, and job searches.
Improv for Communication has 4 sessions, you must be able to attend all four sessions if you register.

Instructor: Annelies Ransome is the founder and leader of The Bookworms improv group which performs in San Francisco and Silicon Valley and is a guest improv instructor for the Alan Alda Center for Communicating Science. She is currently the Associate Director for the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs at Stanford University, and before working with postdoctoral scholars was the Associate Dean for Faculty and Academic Affairs in the School of Engineering at Stanford University.
